Sparkling Seduction Gene is simply divine in this 1948 strapless black gown glittering with applied paillettes and full-length cape of claret velvet with faux fur sleeves. An "amethyst" necklace, three-strand bracelet and earrings complete the outfit. Designed by Mel Odom. Gene and her wardrobe were created and inspired by Mr. Odom's love for the many stars who graced the Silver Screen during the 1940's and 50's.
