WELCOME to CHERISHED FRIENDS DOLL MUSEUM:
A VIRTUAL MUSEUM
|
WELCOME to the Cherished Friends Doll Museum, where we are the first online museum to bring you a unique interactive experience. In addition to the normal photographs of the dolls in our virtual archive, we also offer you a unique experience with interactive 360 images so you can zoom specific features of our dolls or control the spin to view both the front and back of an object. So, come on in and enjoy our museum, but check back often to see our new items and sections. New items added monthly as we continue to grow our virtual archive.

FUN THINGS FOR YOU DO ?
VISIT THE ARCHIVESCherished Friends is proud to present to you a very special archive. The first features a large selection of dolls from the late 1940s to the modern dolls of today. From fashion dolls to play dolls, we have it all. Our archives include Ginny and her big sis Jill, Toni and the Revlon dolls (both vintage and modern versions), Ideal Crissy, Ashton Drake Gene, Madame Alexander, American Girl, and many, many more.
I am also opening a Hall of Action Figures which will include vintage and modern G.I. Joe, Marvel characters, characters from DC, and many of your favorite pop culture icons, including characters from the Big Bang Theory, Ghostbusters, Ninja Turtles, Spawn, and many, many more! And lastly, our Catalog collection, where you will find printed material, including company catalogs, marketing materials, and instruction sheets for your dolls and accessories. |
CHECK OUT OUR CATLOG SECTIONWith everything moving digital, doll references are simply not published anymore, leaving a huge hole for information that we once used to identify our dolls. With over 200 catalogs, flyers, and pamphlets covering a wide range of dolls, we believe we will soon be one of the largest doll reference archives online.
Our catalog archive includes an almost complete collection of catalogs and printed materials for Vogue Ginny from the 1950's until they closed their doors in the mid 2000's. Other catalogs include favorite doll companies such as Effanbee, American Character, Gene, Barbie Collector, Carpatina, Ideal, American Girl, and many, many more. Take a few minutes and check out this invaluable resource. |
DECEMBER'S FEATURE COLLECTION
|
December's feature gallery is the Magic Attic Club! Not only do I have a complete collection of the Knickerbocker Outfits - but I will be adding other hard to find items from the adventure sets including the spinning wheel for Megan's Princess for a Day costume but Keisha's Tea Cart and Set from Keisha's Maze Mystery costume!

WHAT'S NEXT FOR THE MUSEUM?
|
I am working hard to add new sections to the Museum. Over the next month, I will be working to fill in the gaps and missing items for the Ideal Crissy Collection and developing gallery pages for the Vogue Ginny dolls as well as photographing adventure outfits for the Magic Attic Club.
I will also kick off the opening of the action figure collection with the addition of the Big Bang Theory section featuring Sheldon, Leonard, Raj, and Howard in Renaissance costumes. |
